Satisfied in God | Loving One Another | Doing Good in the World

God & Suffering

It is often thought that the depth and extent of evil and human suffering poses a significant problem for Christians who believe in an all-knowing, all-powerful, and wholly good God. In this class, we shall consider theoretical and practical ways for understanding and for reconciling the reality of suffering with our belief in the Triune God.   Our teacher is Michael McKeon who earned a BA in Philosophy from Nyack College, an MA in Philosophy from Temple University, and a PhD in Philosophy from Syracuse University.  Michael  is currently Associate Professor of Philosophy at Barry University in Miami Shores.
