What’s the feeling at Mt. Sinai? Well…it’s tense. It’s unpleasant in the extreme…if last week the Israelites dealt with the emotion of anger (annoyance, frustration, bitterness) THIS WEEK it’s the dark emotion of FEAR! And somehow IN this fearful scene there’s a key to what it means to live with God in the present world.
