Well, they’re usually more sensitive to the things of God than we are as adults… Their attitudes of trust are and simplicity are so easy to see… They don’t parade around their own achievements… They live in constant dependence… Trust. Simplicity. Humility.

Friends… these are the qualities of a disciple of Jesus. This is what the kingdom of heaven looks like. Children by necessity have to lean into relationships of love to survive. And that leads them to experience life with deep meaning and fulfillment.

Children in the life of the Church can actually help lead to the breakthrough we are searching for as the church in a secular age… They can actually revitalize and invigorate the Church…
