In the Christian Faith, justice and mercy are central (Ps 85.10). We traffic in mercy and justice a lot more than we think.

As with most of the passages in Kings, today’s strikes us as odd…and difficult to apply but it offers a crucial and often-misunderstood vision of mercy and justice so let’s jump in:
