This is maybe THE most famous passage in all the Hebrew Bible…Today we look at the WHOLE, not simply the individual commands (each could be a sermon) but we want to consider WHY?…What IS the purpose or USE of the LAW. And we’ll use a classic formulation (though in a different order), the “THREE USES OF THE LAW”:
#1 – The Civil Use,
#2 – The Tutorial Use and
#3 – The Third Use – the Law on our hearts.
