…the New Covenant: it’s a big word in the Bible. It’s not a word we use in our daily lives much but it’s found over 300 times in the Bible and as we’ll see, it’s a loaded term and the weightiest kind of idea… AND the thought that God is somehow setting aside His covenant or abrogating it (nullifying or fulfilling) it and putting a New Covenant in place had to be… shocking to the Hebrew reader who sees that idea in the Prophets.

So let’s look at this scandalous idea, this announcement in the Prophets of a New Covenant: #1 – What’s COVENANT?
