The Invitation
Today, we get the final unveiling and a symbolic glimpse of how it all ends and begins – the New
Jerusalem comes down from above. It’s a vision that’s meant to inspire, in Christians, an
astounding sense of composure as we walk through a sometimes-treacherous world – this is
meant to engender joy.
Let’s look at:
1) THEN
2) NOW
3) HOW (a vision of THEN [future], how it inspires us to live NOW
[present], and finally the wherewithal for doing so – the HOW)
